Hello my name is Nadine Barber and I became a child care professional because of my love of being around young children who are eager to learn. When I was young, I was dramatically influenced by my teacher at Cecil Elementary School who made school unbelievably fun for me and my classmates. I admired my kindergarten teacher’s love of teaching and desire to make being at school enjoyable for everyone.

Over the years my plans to teach young children has never wavered. I have found that there is an endless amount of joy that comes along with teaching youthful children. I love how excited young children are to learn and because of the creativity that pours out of them, how they do not put a limit on what they are able to dream. I feel beyond privileged to be able to work with young children and have the ability to emphasize the positive outcomes associated with going to school and remaining in school.
